How video can change lives
How do you make a video that doesn’t just tell a story but inspires action? For Peace for Paul, we were tasked with creating a fundraising video that not only showcased the strength of their mission but also motivated donors to help make a sustainable football field in Jinja, Uganda, a reality.
This field is designed to be a safe space for children to play and a source of income to make Peace for Paul self-sufficient.

Case Insights
Challenge
Peace for Paul lacked a powerful video to communicate their vision and inspire donors to contribute to their project.
Solution
We developed an impactful fundraising video, combining emotional storytelling with visuals that inspire action.
Execution
In just two days of filming, with local teams and an amazing collaboration with the client, we created an impactful video.
01
Project Initiation & Concept Development
We began by speaking with Heidi, Peace for Paul’s founder, to fully understand their vision and challenges. Together, we identified the core of the story: The love for football in Uganda.
The challenges of unsafe playing fields. The hopeful future this new turf can bring. These elements formed the foundation of the script, which focused on communicating both the emotional impact and a clear call to action.
02
Action!
In just two days, we filmed in Jinja with Heidi, her team, and two local football teams. The production was a seamless and enjoyable collaboration.
Highlights of the Shoot:
Client Collaboration: Working with Heidi felt like creating something with friends. Her enthusiasm and involvement made the process smooth and enjoyable.
Weather Challenges: Rain during one of the games made the field muddy and soaked the cameras. While challenging (especially for Yuri, our camera operator), it resulted in authentic and powerful footage.
Community Involvement: Capturing the kids playing, coaches inspiring, and heartfelt interviews brought the project to life.
03
Post-production
In the editing process, we brought everything together:
Interviews: Heidi’s voice and passion guided the narrative.
Striking Visuals: Close-ups of kids, wide shots of the field, and hopeful moments of play.
Soundtrack: Carefully selected music amplified the emotional impact.
The results so far
Although the campaign hasn’t officially launched yet, the video has already made an impact. Heidi’s husband shared it with a few colleagues, raising $136,987 within days. It’s a testament to the power of storytelling and strong visuals.

Why this project inspired us
This was the second video we created for Peace for Paul. Previously, we made a purpose video that helped them attract many new sponsors and continues to tell their story today.
This project wasn’t just another job—it was a chance to collaborate with an inspiring organization and amazing people who have since become friends. It reminded us why we are so passionate about storytelling: it has the power to create real change.
